| More chocolate Practically, most of my day was spent eating at a restaurant. The other few hours was spent on facebook and beating friends at 7-hand poker, but let's not get into that. In the morning, I woke up at 10-ish (yes, late i know). and actually, i would've slept in longer but my mum is like a personal alarm clock. 'Charlotte, GET UP'. 10 seconds later. 'Charlotte, ARE YOU UP YET?' = =" I really should start getting back into a normal sleeping pattern, because school is starting on Monday. :< I do miss my friends and the stuff we do at school but. I NEED MORE SLEEPING IN TIME . Anyhoo, I ate brunch at this Shanghai restaurant and the Chinese Pork Buns were very yummy :) I was looking forward to the mango pudding, WHICH on the menu looked very big and nommy. When they served it, it turned out alot smaller, but still nommy looking. and then. I started eating. the fruit tasted funny <> and the jelly bit tasted a cross between cake and yogurt or something : < yeah, it wasn't that good. never ordering pudding from that restaurant again. In the 2 or 3 hours back at home, i squeezed in some maths. mostly facebook though... hehe... AND THEN, we had to leave for another restaurant, which we were invited to by our family friends. :) We got there about 5 minutes late-r than the appointed time, only to find that they hadn't booked seats to a really popular restaurant. The front desk person helped us get a table, but it was a 6-people table with 2 chairs. very squished. the people hadn't arrived yet, so we waited and waited. while we did though, we watched heaps of people in pretty dresses and suits walk by, because there just so happened to be a wedding going on in the same restaurant. haha, me and Crystal (my sister) kept 'going to the toilet' to sneak looks at the bride and tables and stuff :> but that didn't keep us too occupied and our family friends were 1 hour late. <> BUT IT'S OHKAY, THEY MADE IT UP WITH CHOCOLATE <3 ahahaha, now i think we have 100 chocolates @.@ is it chocolate giving season or something ? better try not to eat it all and get fat :> haha, anyway. signing off now :) xx choc-rlatte |

| Monopoly Money YAAY, went over to a friend's (Ruby's her name) house today ! finally, i did something social in the holidays that wasn't playing tetris agaisnt friends on facebook. now that i think about it, that's not really social either. haha <> but anyhooo, in the morning, i actually got up when my alarm clock rang (8 am) and i had to wait 2 painfully slow hours until i could leave the house to get to the train station. and, it turned out, being overly-excited and all, I got there 15 minutes before the train i was planning to catch was arriving. great job. :( BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT GOING EARLY TO SOMETHING NEVER GOES TO WASTE :) (harry potter example: when dumbledore turned up 3 hours early for harry's trial, and the trial was actually moved earlier! haha :) and i ended up juuuust catching the earlier train, which i found two of my friends on! yaay~ While waiting for the other members of our creew to arrive, we chilled at the store across the road and ate chips & chocolate (healthy kids, i know). then we hiked over the mountains and all the way to Rubys house (jks, it's not really that far). Ruby has the world's most adorable cat AND IT DOESN'T SCRATCH PEOPLE >: I want a cat like that. that's fat. that's sitting on a mat. in a hat. with a bat. ohkay, yeah i should stop <> but it was really adorable! At one point in the day, it got kinda scared of us and tried to squeeze under the sofa, which was about 10cms from the ground. not good. it was GOING TO DIE. but then ruby came to the rescue :) we played monopoly for most of the day, while listening to music videos and taking turns letting one of our friends level up our tetris level on facebook. cool, i know. In the beginning, everyone was focused and playing and such, but afterwards, only one person was actually focusing on the game. because she really, really, REALLY, wanted to win. and so the rest of the players gave her all their property and money. haha :) but i'm pretty sure she would've won anyway :> At the end of the day, everyone said goodbye to Ruby and we took a secret shortcut back to the train station. Delilah didn't come today, which was a bummer! MAYBE NEXT TIME THEN :) x charlotte P.S. WE HAD A REALLY AWESOME CHOCOLATE MOUSTACHE CAKE TO EAT ~ |
