| Monopoly Money YAAY, went over to a friend's (Ruby's her name) house today ! finally, i did something social in the holidays that wasn't playing tetris agaisnt friends on facebook. now that i think about it, that's not really social either. haha <> but anyhooo, in the morning, i actually got up when my alarm clock rang (8 am) and i had to wait 2 painfully slow hours until i could leave the house to get to the train station. and, it turned out, being overly-excited and all, I got there 15 minutes before the train i was planning to catch was arriving. great job. :( BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT GOING EARLY TO SOMETHING NEVER GOES TO WASTE :) (harry potter example: when dumbledore turned up 3 hours early for harry's trial, and the trial was actually moved earlier! haha :) and i ended up juuuust catching the earlier train, which i found two of my friends on! yaay~ While waiting for the other members of our creew to arrive, we chilled at the store across the road and ate chips & chocolate (healthy kids, i know). then we hiked over the mountains and all the way to Rubys house (jks, it's not really that far). Ruby has the world's most adorable cat AND IT DOESN'T SCRATCH PEOPLE >: I want a cat like that. that's fat. that's sitting on a mat. in a hat. with a bat. ohkay, yeah i should stop <> but it was really adorable! At one point in the day, it got kinda scared of us and tried to squeeze under the sofa, which was about 10cms from the ground. not good. it was GOING TO DIE. but then ruby came to the rescue :) we played monopoly for most of the day, while listening to music videos and taking turns letting one of our friends level up our tetris level on facebook. cool, i know. In the beginning, everyone was focused and playing and such, but afterwards, only one person was actually focusing on the game. because she really, really, REALLY, wanted to win. and so the rest of the players gave her all their property and money. haha :) but i'm pretty sure she would've won anyway :> At the end of the day, everyone said goodbye to Ruby and we took a secret shortcut back to the train station. Delilah didn't come today, which was a bummer! MAYBE NEXT TIME THEN :) x charlotte P.S. WE HAD A REALLY AWESOME CHOCOLATE MOUSTACHE CAKE TO EAT ~ |
